On its premiere night, Wipeout scored the highest premiere rating of any new show in Summer 2008. It also beat a competing veteran summer show Hell’s Kitchen.[5] Nielsen Media Research put it at the top of the 18-49 demographic, but NBC’s America’s Got Talent still outpaces it slightly.

The results were so surprising what Wipeout season 2 has been officially announced after the network ordered 16 more episodes (but you will have to wait until next summer to watch them)

There’s been reports that Lost Season 5 tv show will introduce two new characters named Caesar and Ilanna , supposed to be on the bad guys side (along with Widmore and Mr. Abbadon) they are decribed to be  “as mysterious as they are lethal.” Caesar is 30 something and is physical, intelligent, and charming. Ilanna is a European woman in her late 20s or early 30s with some serious smarts.

Yet another tv reality show is coming to Fox. The japanese tv show Hole in The Wall has been picked up by Fox to replace The Moment of Truth.

It is an adaptation of the Japanese game Brain Wall in which players must contort themselves to fit through cutouts in a large wall moving towards them.

Hole in The Wall premieres on September 11 at 8 p.m. ET.

First off, this has nothing to do with the 2003 MTV reality show Wildboyz ( a Jackass spinoff).  Brett Ratner (filmmaker) and 24 produces Carlos Coto have an upcoming series within their hands.  The new tv series title is Wild Boys.

“Wild Boys basically deals with  a group of Iraq War veterans who lose their contracting jobs in the Washington D.C. suburbs. When faced with little options, they decide to hire themselves as different contractors - guns for hire, while still trying to manage their suburban lives”.

Apparently, they decided that the right place to show their new product is FOX.  Wild Boys has the thumbs up and Ratner could be the one to direct the Wild Boys Pilot.

Wild Boys sounds pretty much like The A-Team, just chaging the scenario from Vietnam to Iraq.
